He was predeceased by: his parents, James Loyd and Edna Loyd; and his brothers, Gary Brashear and Junior Brashear. He is survived by: his wife Lou Loyd; his children, Breezy Loyd and Kevin Loyd; his grandsons, Samuel, Benjamin and Keanu; and his sisters, Carolyn Maxwell and Judy Farmer.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (20109 Bus, MO-13, Higginsville, MO 64037).
