He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burgett and Dula Burgett; his wife Sandra Sue (Shocklee); and his siblings, Gilbert Burgett and Ima Mae McKnight.
He is survived by: his children, Brady Burgett and Cindy Horn (Michael); his grandchildren, Karlee Schmitt (George), Devin Horn, Dawson Burgett and Kyndall Burgett; and his sisters, Clara Nell Bishop and Eileen Mann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Open Door Sanctuary in House Springs, MO.
