In loving memory of Chester Eugene Burgett of High Ridge, Missouri, born in Maynard, Arkansas, who departed this world on June 2, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burgett and Dula Burgett; his wife Sandra Sue (Shocklee); and his siblings, Gilbert Burgett and Ima Mae McKnight.
He is survived by: his children, Brady Burgett and Cindy Horn (Michael); his grandchildren, Karlee Schmitt (George), Devin Horn, Dawson Burgett and Kyndall Burgett; and his sisters, Clara Nell Bishop and Eileen Mann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel (2129 N Park St, Pocahontas, AR 72455).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Open Door Sanctuary in House Springs, MO.
