It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. Self of High Ridge, Missouri, born in Perryville, Missouri, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Louis Scherer and Dorothy Scherer; her sister Judith Winschel (Patrick); and her brother-in-law Allen Schumer. She is survived by : her children, Jonathan Self (Kimberly) and Julie Palmisano (Ronald); her grandchildren, Hailey Palmisano and Samuel Palmisano; her great grandchild Antonio Palmisano; and her sister Janice Schumer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Mortuary - Cedar Hill (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016, USA). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
