He was predeceased by: his parents, Efrain Barragan and Maria Barragan (Duran); his wife Saundra Helen Barragan (Hopkins); his son Stuart Alan Barragan; his sisters, Aurora Barragan, Otilia Moto, Elba Mota, Berta Lujan, Erendira Tabouada and Beatriz Bautista; and his son-in-law Victor Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Alana Barragan Scott (Michael), Kimberly Stewart, Angelique Thompson and Victoria Lawson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Drew Scott, Mason Scott, Sloane Scott, Andria Barragan, Nolan Stewart, Lily Dowling (Brenden), Brandon Demello (Veronica), Dalton Thompson, Aidan Parker (Keeli), Kayle Thompson, Alora Thompson and Lauren Lawson; his great grandchildren, Blake Dowling and Tariacuri Parker; and his siblings, Reynalda Mota and Othelo Barragan. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
