Jack Basham Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Basham of Hillsboro, Missouri, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Basham and Bertha Mae Basham; and his brothers, Truman, Ron and Jerry Basham.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Barnett; his children, Jackie Basham (Debbie), Tammy Diveley (David) and Doug Basham (Lisa); his siblings, Dan Basham of Winona, MO and Phyllis Baker of Lebanon, MO; and his siblings-in-law, David Barnett (Linda) of Summersville, MO and Evelyn Wells (Johnny) of Rolla, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sandy Baptist Church (9331 Sandy Church Rd, Hillsboro, MO 63050). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Sandy Cemetery.
The family requests that donations be made to a local charity in Jack's honor, reflecting the generous and giving spirit that defined his life.
