Mary Baumgartner Obituary
We bid farewell to Mary Baumgartner of Hillsboro, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Reames and Ruth Reames (Sherman); her grandmother MawMaw B (BumbleBee) of MiMi; her husband Jules Baumgartner (Nick); and her siblings, Patty Hillmeyer (late Earl), Bob Reames (June), Ruth Tweedy (late Dave) and Woody Reames.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Pigg (Terry) of Blackwell, Cyndy Bradley (Jimmy Miller) of DeSoto, Tina Thebeau (Chris) of Hillsboro and Mike Baumgartner (Sheila) of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Jaime Lammert (Dave), Preston Pigg (Mickey), Dustin Farrar (Angela), Lindsay Pigg (TJ Passet), Brad Gravagna (Christina), Jeff Gravagna, Stephanie Drummond (TJ), David Gravagna (Amy), Corinne Tullis (Mike), Christina Oberlin (Todd), Jacob Thebeau, Joe Baumgartner (Leila Awad), Nick Baumgartner and Christopher Baumgartner; her sisters, Rena Ballard (late Richard), Bonnie Billings (Brad) and Susan Saifer (late Bill); and her friend Clark Shay. She is also survived by twenty-four great grandchildren, three great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church (4810 State Rd B, Hillsboro, MO 63050). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the HUMC Christmas Food and Gift Basket fund or the Hillsboro Food Pantry.
