She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Monroe and Opal Verneil Merideth Bullinger; her husband Joseph "Bud" Garlin Nelson; her son Kevin Nelson; and her siblings, James "Junior" Bullinger, Lindle Bullinger, Wayne Bullinger, Gene Bullinger, Glenda Shipley and Carolyn Bullinger.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Nelson, Jr. (Kim) of Holcomb, Jerry Nelson of Holcomb and Steve Nelson (Tina) of Springdale, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Kassandra Dalton, Stephanie Mendoza (Jesus), Joseph "Trai" Nelson III, Jacob Nelson (Dallas), Michael Nelson and Mason Nelson (Cierra). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
