He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Brunner and Alma Brunner (Kunkel); his wife Marjorie Ann Buerkett; his daughter Laura Brunner; and his siblings, Norbert Brunner, Mary Margaret Krone and Dorothy Hakman.

He is survived by : his children, Larry Brunner (Julie) of Kingsville, MO, Janet Wutke (Mike) of Marshfield, MO, Dennis Brunner (Terri) of Centralia, MO and Brian Brunner of Kansas City, MO; and his siblings, Raymond Brunner of Springfield, IL, John Brunner of Springfield, IL, Betty Primm of Athens, IL and Joan Barnes of St. Charles, MO. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve greatgrandchildren.
