He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Pemberton and Gertrude Pemberton Brewer; his siblings, Ed Pemberton and Beulla Pemberton; and his grandson Joey Pemberton.
He is survived by: his wife Autumn Willola Pemberton; his sister Ella Webb of Clinton, Missouri; his children, JW Pemberton (Debra) of Deepwater, Gerald Pemberton, Annie of Holden, Janet Roberts, Jerry of Warsaw, Virgil Pemberton of Jacksonville, Joel Pemberton (Lisa) of Holden, Missouri, Gary Roberts of Sedalia and Tracey Ellenburg of Lexington, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Mary Burton of Clinton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell-Cast Funeral Home (407 S Pine St, Holden, MO 64040). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Kingsville Cemetery W Highway (111 SW State Hwy W, Kingsville, MO 64061).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial contributions be made to Kingsville Consolidated Cemetery Association PO Box 134, Kingsville, MO 64061 in Elmer's memory.
