He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett Franklin Rhoades and Hallie Rhoades (Bradshaw). He is survived by : his wife Loraine Marie Rhoades (Hampton); his siblings, Joyce Shumate of Holden and Gary Rhoades of Leeton; and his children, John Rhoades, Jr. (Susan) of Independence, Jeanie Johnson of Tennessee, David Rhoades of Lenexa, Kansas and Jeffrey Rhoades (Laura) of Higginsville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
