With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathy Eileen Ryan of Holden, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathy left this world on October 16, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Scharrer and Ashton Scharrer; and her siblings, Charlie Brizendine, John Scharrer and Shirley Bryant.
She is survived by: her husband Roy Dean Ryan of Holden, Missouri; her daughters, Jennifer Lynn Hansford (Cliff) of Holden and Melissa Ann Paith (Justin) of Peculiar, Missouri; her grandchildren, Korynn, Cliff Jr., Ashton, Nataley and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Zaudynn, Evah, Elyse, Tre and Brayden; her siblings-in-law, Cindy Nolting, Jim Bradshaw (Natalie), Martie Brizendine and Kim Scharrer; her sibling's children, Mindi, Chris, Joe, Jim, Scott, Christopher, Dylan, Melinda, Peter, Nicholas, Jed, Desiree, Stacey and Jonah; her cousins, Scherry, Bob and Rick; and her pet Lilly.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holden United Methodist Church (605 E 10th St, Holden, MO 64040).
We ask that donations be made to the church in Kathy's name in lieu of flowers.
