It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Veda McKay (Holden, Missouri), born in Persia, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John W. Murphy and Vangy Alice Murphy (Shelten); her husband Charles B. McKay of Lee's Summit; and her siblings, Jim Murphy, Freda Shipley and Cletis Snyder.
She is survived by : her daughter Shirley M. Gudde; her grandchildren, Jason Gudde of Holden and Tonya Gudde (Matt) of Lee's Summit; and her siblings, Stella Whiteman of Kingsville and Bill Murphy of Holden. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contribution may be left to the Holden Cemetery Association or Enon Baptist Church.
