She was predeceased by : her parents, Emil R. Hunter and Elizabeth Hunter (Disharoon); her husband Bobby Joe Brooks; her great grandchildren, Bradley Dourty, Cecelia and Marie Dourty; and her siblings, Ralph Hunter, Rex Hunter, Dale Hunter, Robert Hunter, Russell Hunter, Oryne Hancock, Sue Kendrick, Anna Marie Hunter and Mildred Hunter.
She is survived by : her children, Harold (Karen), Terry Brooks of Holden, MO, Danny Brooks of Grain Valley, MO and Peggy Dourty (Chuck) of Adkins, TX; her sister Dixie Iiams; her grandchildren, Brian Dourty (Jill), Kindra Brooks, Charlene Payne, Brittany Brooks (Andrew), Danny Brooks, Jr. and Chris Wackerman (Mariana); and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Austin Dourty, Kambel, Kamryn Snelling, Maverick Payne, Emma, Olivia Williams, Madera Brooks, Alex and Dillion Wackerman.
Flowers are welcomed and memorials may be made to the Elm Springs Cemetery Association in care of the funeral home.
