Stella Mae Whiteman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Mae Whiteman (Holden, Missouri), who passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Stella farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Stella is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Vangy Murphy (Shelten); her husband Marvin Whitman; and her siblings, Jim Murphy, Freda Shipley, Cletis Snyder and Mary McKay. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church in Kingsville.
