He is survived by : his wife Kelly (Howard); his children, Joshua Perkins (Senna), Joseph Perkins, Anthony Perkins, Amanda Craig (Michael) and Holly McMillin (Ryan); his brother Jim Heyde; his niece Erin Fondren (Cayden); and his grandchildren, Luna Craig, Damon Perkins, Kali Perkins, Lilli Perkins, Joanna Perkins and A. J. Perkins.
