Gene Doerr Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Doerr of Hollister, Missouri, who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Doerr and Hattie Doerr (Machmueller); and his siblings, Martin Doerr, Dale Doerr and Eileen Jensen.

He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Doerr of Hollister; his children, Bob Doerr (Mary) of Forsyth, Tony Doerr (Cherie) of Forsyth, Julie Freese (Joel) of Ozark and Tammy Brown (Randy) of Liberty, MO; his sister Helen Thompson of Forsyth; his sister-in-law Phyllis Doerr of Plainview, NE; and his grandchildren, Casey Brown, Drew Brown, Jenna Wundrack, John Freese, Dalton Doerr and Dustin Doerr. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
