He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Sherri" Sims; his children, Larry "Sonny" Robert Sims, II and Susan Diane Sims; his sister Mitzie Allen (Randy); his stepsister Terri Haywood; his grandchildren, Jody Williams, Trent Sims (Brooke), Larry "Beau" Robert Sims, III and Harlie Sims; and his mother-in-law Shirley R. Murberger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
