With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Heavenleigh Humes of Holt, Missouri, born in Kennett, Missouri, who passed away on July 18, 2025 at the age of 30. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Francis Jones, Doretha Humes and David Humes Sr.; her great-grandparent Laura Clay; and her aunt Vernice Jones (Mary Jackson).
She is survived by: her parents, David Humes Jr. and Martha Jackson; her daughter Ralaya Westbrooks; and her siblings, Sherie Jackson Baker (Mondwell), D'vaniety Jackson, Daveya Rodgers, Arielle Ross and David Humes.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Houser-Millard Funeral Directors (2613 W Main St, Jefferson City, MO 65109). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy can be made to her daughter Ralaya, or to the Sickle Cell Disease Foundation.
