She is survived by: her husband Ernest Shipps; her son Daniel "Beeper" Shipps; and her siblings, Mary Ann Sauter (Pete), Jim Gunter (Cassie), Doris Jenkins (Eldon) and Bart Gunter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
