With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald L. Schaefer of Holts Summit, Missouri, born in Loose Creek, Missouri, who passed away on December 26, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo Schaefer and Annie Schaefer (Rotter); and his brother Francis Schaefer. He is survived by : his children, Donald Schaefer Jr. (Pam Walther), Doug Schaefer (Barb Kemple), Donna Mehrhoff and Darryl Schaefer; his grandchildren, Brent Schaefer (Alicia Wise), Annie Schaefer (Bobby Kloeppel), Lisa Dittmer (Curt), Wayne Schaefer (Amy), Brittney Beasley and Katrina Howard (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Dylan Wise, Addison Schaefer, Kaidence, Lucas, Jacob Dittmer, Avery and Parker Schaefer; his brother Edmund Schaefer (Anna Mae); and his sister-in-law Marrietta Schaefer.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
