He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Kathryn Cardwell; sons: Robert Cardwell II (Leesa), Justin Cardwell (Heidi) and Benjamin Cardwell (Sara); daughter: Kirsten Cardwell (Brad Jones); sisters: MaryAnn Houseman (Jack), Helen Brown (Delmis) and Linda Thomas (Jackie); parents: Lyman John and Verbie Pauline (Brown) Cardwell; grandchildren: Ayden Jones, Marshall Cardwell, Owen Cardwell and Ella Cardwell; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church (400 St Andrews Ln, Holts Summit, MO 65043). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the College of the Ozarks, St. Andrew Catholic Church, educational fund established for Robert's grandchildren or Native American Education Fund.
