With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley A. Smith of Holts Summit, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dooling and Adestie Dooling (LaFaver); and her siblings, William Dooling, Dorothy Branch, Mary Hatting and Margaret Hartman.
She is survived by: her husband John L. Smith; her daughter Teresa Rotter (Scott) of Holts Summit; her grandchildren, Ronald Smith of New Bloomfield, Kevin Smith (Monica) of Holts Summit, Bethany Orr of Columbia, Ryan Smith of Holts Summit, Taylor Rotter of Holts Summit, Kyle Smith (Amber) of Holts Summit and CJ Shoults of Holts Summit; her great grandchildren, Carson and Mason Orr; and her siblings, Jerry Dooling of Holts Summit and Catherine Nichols of Holts Summit. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
