It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Barnard of Holts Summit, Missouri, born in Cedar City, Missouri, who passed away on November 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Gilford H. Nichols and Nancy Elizabeth "Lizzie" Nichols (Smallwood); her husband Bobby Lee Barnard; her siblings, Madeline Bloomer, Kenny Nichols, Valda Lane and Darrell Nichols; her children, Pamela Carrender and Keith Morris; her children-in-law, Rex "Wayne" Reynolds and Tina Morris; and her great grandchild Sloane Reynolds.
She is survived by : her children, Debbie Reynolds of Holts Summit and Rick Morris (Chris) of Holts Summit; and her grandchildren, Eric Reynolds (Lisa), Ryan Carrender (Bethany), Justin Reynolds (Brandi), Dalton Morris Dustin (Tiffany), Brittany Carrender, Katie Morris and Macey Urban (Jarrod). She is also survived by two stepsons; one stepdaughter; 15 great-grandchildren; her cherished nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
