He was predeceased by: his father Willis Tarbell; his siblings, Harold David Engelke and Joyce Engelke; his parents-in-law, Dr. Celse and Marjorie Berard; and his sister-in-law Suzanne Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Berard; his daughter Taryn Byrne (Dustin); and his grandchildren, Liam, Clara and Nolan. He is also survived by many family members, and close friends.
