Wilma Newton Obituary
We announce the death of Wilma Newton of Holts Summit, Missouri, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 96. Wilma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Artie D. Williams and Lillie Mae Williams (Judd); and her husband Clif. She is survived by: her sons, Lanny D. Newton (Gina) of Amarillo and Kevin B. "Brent" Newton (Resa) of Holts Summit, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Newton, Tawn Mitchell (Darron), Terrill Newton (Stephanie), Terrance Newton, Aleisha Morgan (Adrian) and Zachary Newton (Jamie). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Abernathy Cemetery (1350 Co Rd 325, Abernathy, TX 79311).
