She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schneider and Estella Schneider; her husband Jerome "Jerry" Smith; her son Bob Smith; her grandson Matthew Lohman; her great grandchild Lewis Lohman; her sister Jeannine Soulsby; and her son-in-law Tom Fischer (Steven Gilley).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Smith (Christine), Don Smith (Linda), Sue Lohman (Tim), Denise Fischer, Kathy Wieseman (Brad), Tom Smith (Laura), Jeannine Mitchell (Kenny), Lisa Wieseman (Mike), Tim Smith, Craig Smith (Connie) and Ellen Tuohy (Matt); her daughter-in-law Pat Smith; her brothers, John Schneider (Ruth), Bob Schneider (Kathy) and Joe Schneider (Patsy); and her brother-in-law Dan Soulsby.
Memorial donations can be made on behalf of Phyllis to Peace Pantry in Cedar Hill and the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
