She was predeceased by: her daughters, Macie Lorraine Sawyer and Emily Renee Sawyer; her grandparents, Arlene and Raymond Stubblefield; her father-in-law Melvin Eugene Sawyer; and her aunts, Jackie Hedges and Raylene Stubblefield.

She is survived by: her parents, Robert Bates and Debra Bates; her husband Christopher Sawyer; her sons, Austin Diedrich, Anthony Sawyer, Joshua Sawyer and Sean Akers; her sister Angie Yarber (Jody); her mother-in-law Becky Sawyer (Lydon Dodson); and her brothers-in-law, Travis Sawyer and Trinity Sawyer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Evans Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
