He is survived by: his sister Judy York of Houston; the mothers of children, Barbara Merckling of Lithia Springs and Georgia; his children, Mark Merckling (Donna) of Kansas City, Deanna Carter of Douglasville, Patricia Sleebos (Tim) of Bremen and Lora Stilley (Jerry) of Winston; and his grandchildren, Mindy Wood (Aaron), Matthew Merckling (Alexus), Melissa Porterfield (Michael), Amanda Moyer (David), Micah Carter (Leah), Jeremy Carter (Brittany), Karlie Hooper (Chris), Kirsten Rockhill (Peter), KeLynne Sleebos, Tyler Stilley (Favor), Alec Stilley (Ashle), Cameron Stilley (Amanda), Logan Stilley (Alicia), Evan Stilley (Olivia) and Elizabeth Romero. He is also survived by 7 Step Grandchildren and 41 Great Grandchildren.
