Georgia Estelle Vollmar Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Estelle Vollmar of Houston, Missouri, born in Yukon, Missouri, who passed away on May 5, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Georgia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Georgia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Neville Lynch and Virgil Lynch; and her siblings, Nadine, Willard and Bob.

She is survived by: her son Col. Frank Vollmar; her daughter-in-law Joann Vollmar; her daughter Sandra Jones; and her grandsons, Tad Vollmar (Ann), Virgil Vollmar and Brock Vollmar. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and the rest of her loving family.
