It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goldie Nadine Nelson (Houston, Missouri), born in Salem, Missouri, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Howard Nelson; and her son Dewayne Lee Nelson. She is survived by : her siblings, James Willis, Mary Holt, Ethel Cooper, Lillie Karnes, Annie Conaway and Eunice Cooper. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

She donated time, cooking, and other charitable endeavors to the parish members, who were like a second family.
