She was predeceased by: her sisters, Virginia and Dorene. She is survived by: her husband Darrel "Gene" Gentry; her children, Brad and Trish; and her nephew Roger Norris (Carolyn) of Overland Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Texas County Library Foundation or Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
