He is survived by: his sons, Darrell James Scheets (Shirley) and Darren Ray Scheets (Tammy); his close friend Verl Dawson; his siblings, Virgil, Billy (Bessie) and Delma Haney (Kermit); his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Ethel Sigman; his siblings-in-law, Raymond Sigman (Gertie), James Sigman (Betty), Harold Hoar, Dean Stogsdill and Annie Hutson (Leroy); his wife Clara Scheets; his grandchildren, Jake Scheets (Lynsey), Cory Scheets (Ellie) and Kenzie Harlan (Nick); his great grandchildren, Mylie, Aubrie, Willa, Huntley, Paisley, Ripp, Adalynn and Rowdy; his brother Benny Scheets (Geneva); his sisters-in-law, Wilmadene Scheets, Mable Hoar and Virginia Stogsdill; and his nieces and nephews, Delmar Sigman and Elmer.
