It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LeRoy Cole of Houston, Missouri, who passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of LeRoy Cole to show support.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Cole and Hazel Irene Cole (Fisher); his wife Ethel Cole (Altis); his siblings, Vernon Cole, Lester Cole, Wilferd Cole, Glen Cole and Fern Marie Overy; his children-in-law, Rick Collins and Teresa Cole; and his siblings-in-law, Agnes Cole, Ireta Cole and Verl Overy.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Cole of Wayne, Oklahoma, Becky Collins of Houston, Missouri, Jimmy Cole (Trish) of Success, Missouri and Irene Massey (Troy) of Houston, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Amy Rose Cole and Glenna Cole. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 2 more soon to be born great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church - Houston (1241 Hawthorn St, Houston, MO 65483). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (8000 Hwy E, Houston, MO 65483).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Hill Cemetery in honor of LeRoy.
