She was predeceased by : her parents, James Delmar "Doc" Burrus and Georgia Louise McConnell; her husband Vard Wood; her son-in-law Emmett Tate; her brothers, Don and Kenny Burrus; her children, J. D. (Louise), S. L. and Brenda Wood; her siblings-in-law, Fay, Darlene, Jean Burrus and Dave Thomas; her grandson Todd Norris; and her great grandchild Frankie Ziegler.

She is survived by : her daughters, Dina Kincaid of Norman and Jodi Tate of Eminence; her daughter-in-law Marlyn Kelley; her grandchildren, Dwain Wood, Debbie Henderson, Rob Wood (Missy), Shea Wood (Sally), LaDawn Goodwin (Greg) and April Mathews (John); and her siblings, Tom, Bill (Maxine), Jack (Betty), Richard Burrus (Sherry) and Judy Thomas. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
