He is survived by: his wife Ida Brandon; his sons, Michael Brandon Jr., Kenneth Brandon (Pam Ogren) and Justin Brandon (Gretchen Aderman); his grandchildren, Halie Brandon, Tommy Lee Brandon, Ethan Brandon, Jazlynn Brandon and Jeremiah Brandon; and his siblings, Janell Williams, Carolyn Brooks, Sally Ward, Larry Brandon and Bruce Brandon.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ozark Baptist Church (17490 Ozark Rd, Houston, MO 65483).
