It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard E. Best of Houston, Missouri, who passed away on April 10, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edwin Best and Rose Best; his brother Marven Best; his son James Richard Best; his parents-in-law, Cecil and Erna Rosenfelt; his brothers-in-law, Joe Rosenfelt and Eugene Evans; and his niece Denise Evans.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Lea Rosenfelt; his children, Pennie Shelton (Dewayne) of Bucyrus, MO and Michael Best (Hope) of Houston, MO; his sister Vera Evans of Neosho, MO; his grandchildren, Nicole Cook, Cole Hooper, Tyler Best and Trenton Best; and his great grandchild Olivia Best. He is also survived by his son and grandchildren.
