He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodney William and Mary Evelyne Alexander (Walk); his wife Nellie Joan Dial; his daughter Kathy McDonald; and his sister Lydia Jane Kearney.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Saylor (Terry) of Sweet Springs, Becky Reid (Russ Zimmerman) of Sweet Springs, Ricky Alexander (Tosha) of Concordia and Tony Alexander (Jennifer) of Houstonia; his son-in-law Larry McDonald of Jefferson City; his grandchildren, Troy Saylor, Travis Reid (Whitney), Nathan Reid (Bethany), Emmett Paul Alexander, Will Alexander (Lynn), Cole Alexander (Destiny), Caitlin Alexander, Tiffany Edwards (Jordan) and Breanna Elling; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Reece, Mason Baker, Ailyn McDonald, Hayleigh Mattes (Bryce), Kendall, Elijah Marlin, Easton, Emerson, Alaythia, Eliyanah, Micah, Ava, Conn Alexander, Jasper Parker, Felicity, Corben Akers, Charlotte Rose, Lincoln Alexander, Olivia Edwards, Asher Huddleston, Oaklynn and Hudson Reade; his sisters, Elsie Simmons and Helen Pummill; and his grandsons, Deven McDonald and Chantry Alexander. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; his first great-great grandson.
