She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Laning and Inez Reed Laning; and her siblings, Gene, Harlen, Randy and Sondra.
She is survived by: her husband Darrell Hess; her children, Angelena Orear (Shawn) of Hume, Matt Hess of Grain Valley, Deborah Crawford of Hume and Delaina Kellhofer (Nate) of Hume, Missouri; and her siblings, Bonnie, Gary, Terry, Rick, Connie, Tony and Steve. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
