It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell E. John of Huntsville, Missouri, born in Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Orel John and Ruth John (Limerick); his wife Lucille Marie Sutliff; his sister Pearl Irene Edwards; and his grandchild Raegan Marie John.

He is survived by : his children, Carolyn Devecka (Michael) of Montclair, NJ, Michael John (Dara) of Huntsville, MO and Kathryn Hennessy (Steven) of Cumby, TX; his grandchildren, Hayley Huyser (Daron) of Elwood, NE, Hunter John (Amanda) of San Antonio, TX, Paden John (Maegan) of Eureka, MO, Sutton Hennessy (Jenna) of Gainesville, TX and Brianne Hennessy of San Antonio, TX; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Cooper, McLane and Macie Huyser; and his grandchildren, Loreley, Gavin, Cora John, Glynn, Caidden Hennessy, Anna Marie and Henry John. He is also survived by several nieces, nephew, and other extended family.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Brook Cherith Assisted Living Center.
