He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Schaffer (Bax) and John Schaffer; his granddaughter Sophie Schaffer; and his siblings, John Schaffer, Roman Schaffer, Victor Schaffer, Coletta Otto, Margaret Luzetti, Albert Schaffer, James Schaffer and Matilda Wall.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Schaffer; his children, Stephanie Kane Parrish (Tony) and Jason Schaffer (Jill); and his grandchildren, Jackson Schaffer, Darcie Kane (Brady), Caroline Schaffer, Abbie Kane and Olivia Schaffer.
