He was predeceased by: his parents, Floy Oddly and Grace Groves (Skaggs); his wife Donna Jean Ross; his daughters, Beth Groves-Johnson and Theresa Lynn Darnell (Groves); his siblings, Judy Gilbert, C. G., Leo and Joe Groves; and his nephew Mike Groves.
He is survived by: his children, Jana Sexton (Bill), Karyn Smith (Allen) and Alan Groves (Lisa); and his siblings, Davie Groves (Carol), Carol Groves and Kathy Bonesteel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
