With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Christopher Sumpter of Imperial, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Christopher left this world on June 3, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Sumpter and Elzilene Sumpter (Barton); his wife Eula Mae Volner; and his siblings, Ogie, Emmitt, Thedford, Lexie, Ovie, James Sumpter, Frieda Stallings, Retha Orick and Eva Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Sumpter of Shiloh, Phyllis Davis (Ricky) of Imperial, Rhonda Giles (Kevin) of Mt. Olive and Patricia Corbin (Mike) of Dupo. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McSpadden Funeral Home (302 Hwy A, Bunker, MO 63629). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
