She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Bequette and Marcella Bequette (Chesley); her husband Reverend Robert A. Connell; her children, Deanna Stark and Robert Connell, Jr.; and her son-in-law Scott Stegall.
She is survived by: her children, Denise "Shelly" Stegall of Granite City, IL, William Connell of Imperial, MO, Jeffrey Connell (Anastasia) of Arnold, MO and James "Jim" Connell (Tracy) of Imperial, MO; her children-in-law, Mike Stark of Crestwood, IL and Joan Connell of Smithton, IL; and her sister Betty Greer (Robert) of New Valmeyer, IL. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Valhalla Gaerdner Holten Funeral Home (3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville, IL 62223).
