He was predeceased by: his parents, James Knott and Virgie Knott; and his siblings, William "Buck", Sr., Mary Mercedes, S. U. "Kate", Sr., Jamesetta, S. U. "Minnie", Mable and Charlie.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Mae Knott; and his children, Kerry (Kathy), Jeff (Julie) and Tammy Isgrigg (Allen).
