He was predeceased by: his daughter Barbara Eversmeyer (Jon); his parents, Lucille Cornine DeGonia (Lachance) and Joe Frank DeGonia; his siblings, Loretta Barron (Martin), Margaret Vandergriff (Milford), George DeGonia (Della) and Gene DeGonia (Charlene); and the mother of his children Violet DeGonia (Witt).
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Butler Pfaff (Robert Pfaff); his grandson Brett Butler of Festus, Missouri; his son Robert DeGonia (Becky) of Arnold, Missouri; and his sister Laura Partney (Leslie) of Potosi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
