It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alta Ilene Wagner (Independence, Missouri), who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Cornelis Browning and Edith Browning. She is survived by : her husband Robert Wagner; her children, Patricia Hatt (Milton), Peggy Gorden (Les) and Robert Wagner (Pat); her daughter-in-law Darla Wagner; and her grandchildren, Michael Hatt (Cindy), Shelley Wood (Dale), Charlotte Isbell (Mike), Michele Krause (Kenny), Rob Wagner (Amy), Steve Gorden (Lindsay), Leslie Scheer (Rusty), Jeff Gorden (Sheryl) and Jennifer Hanning. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, extended family members and dear friends.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055).
