She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Nellis; and her parents, Arthur Flesher and Annella Flesher (Blanton). She is survived by: her daughter Amy Bentz (James); her stepdaughter Kathrina Nellis (Tracey); her friend Dan Minter; and her grandchildren, Aurora, Olivia, Isaac and Ezren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (701 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64050).
