It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Mildred Kaat of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on November 28, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Casper Kaat, Jr.; her siblings, Lester, Gordon, Linda and Susan; and her great grandchild Katima.
She is survived by: her children, Ralph Kaat (Deborah) of Raytown, MO, Theresa Kaat-Wohlert (Bob) of Independence, MO, Angie Kaat-Mann (Dave) of Alva, FL, Casper Kaat of Independence, MO and Daniel Kaat (Jennifer) of Kansas City, MO; and her brother John Klughart of Canada. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
