She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hollis and Ollie Hollis (Wiggs); her husband Alvie Powers; and her siblings, Billy Joe Hollis, Thelma Head and Ruby Chandler.
She is survived by: her son Michael Powers; her granddaughter Brandy Riggs; her great grandchild Tessa Riggs; her sister Pat Hammons; and her nephew Ricky Hammons (Charlie).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Royer's New Salem Funeral Home (1823 N Blue Mills Rd, Independence, MO 64058). A burial will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at the New Salem Cemetery.
