George of Independence, Missouri, born in Tonganoxie, Kansas, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter L George; and her siblings, Jean Botts (Betty), Dorthy Dwyer (Jim), Marie Hubbard (Gene) and Deannie Laming (Tom).
She is survived by: her children, Shari Buro (Frank) of New Port Richey, FL, Sheila George and John George (Debi); and her grandchildren, Beth, Christy, Justin and Dana. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations to be forwarded to group (s) whose loving care are a tribute to Betty's spirit, attitude and her life.
